On September 11 and 12, The Chapel’s Worship Arts Ministry presents EXALT HIS NAME, a worship arts festival, celebrating the names of God. Throughout scripture we read how God revealed Himself to His people and they in turn responded by giving Him a name based on that revelation. The Festival, being held at The Chapel in the Oaks, 9611 Siegen Lane, will include a worship concert exploring the depth of God’s character, declaring who He is through His many names and attributes. The concert will feature The Chapel Choir, soloists, the Youth Music and Drama Ensemble, the WAM for Kids Choir, an Orchestra and Dance Ensemble.
The evening will also include the opportunity to browse through the art gallery of various art forms featuring Chapel and community Christian artists displaying their work and testimony of the greatness of God through His many names. One featured artist will be Dale Soileau, who has built a scale model of the original tabernacle and tabernacle furnishings, built to original size and description including the Ark of the Covenant. Mr. Soileau will make a presentation about his models at the festival dressed in the High Priest garments crafted by he and his wife.
The Festival will be held Saturday, September 11 at 7 pm and Sunday, September 12 at 5 pm. The Chapel in the Oaks is located at 9611 Siegen Lane, between Perkins and Highland Road. The public is cordially invited and encouraged to come to this free event.
