Kids Hope USA
One child, one hour is the heart of KIDS HOPE USA. One caring adult mentoring an at-risk child one hour every week. Because when kids feel loved and valued, they are better able to learn, grow, and succeed. We are so fortunate to have Kids Hope USA here at The Chapel, partnering with Wildwood Elementary, as we are one of many in this faith based mentoring program across the USA.
Here is how you can be a part. We need:
Mentors/Substitute Mentors
Commitment: Mentors meet with one at-risk child, for one hour once a week during the school day from August through May.
Prayer Partners
Provide behind the scenes prayer support for one mentor and the child they meet with.
Special Event Volunteers
If you have the gift of hospitaliy, we are looking for help with the Christmas Party, Year End Party and Teacher Appreciation Luncheon.
