A woman’s life is marked by seasons. Some come by choice; others are thrust upon her. Whether she marries or remains single, her life continually advances by stages. She takes on more responsibility at home, at work and in the community. If she has children, her life is governed by their level of dependence. The exhausting days of their infancy too soon are replaced by elementary school, high school, college and, finally, the ambiguously named ‘empty nest’.
The challenge for women is to retain a sense of their unique identity through all the seasons of their lives. While circumstances continually change, we have discovered that Jesus Christ never changes. In the midst of earthly transition, He provides an unshakable foundation for our lives.
This multi-generational Bible study is appropriately named Seasons. Women in any season of life are invited to join us as we get to know other women and study biblical principles together.
