Youth Music and Dramas Group at the The Chapel gives a unique opportunity for youth in 6th – 12th grades to discover and develop their God-given creative and artistic gifts and learn how to use them as God desires. Through group rehearsals, specific workshops and a retreat, this energetic group prepares for a major outreach musical displaying their talents in music, dance, art, drama, and technical abilities. Most importantly it is an opportunity for Youth to share the love and gospel of Christ with their peers and with Baton Rouge!

Video Testimony of YMAD Ministry  

 

In March 2011, the Chapel Youth Music and Drama Group presented Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, the beloved fairytale and animated film brought to life in this Broadway production with all the memorable tunes, the lovable, enchanted characters with their fabulous costumes and the dramatic story of true love’s transforming, redeeming power. It was presented by 100 gifted 6th – 12th grade Youth representing over 20 schools in the Baton Rouge area. It was directed by Ken Drake, Chris Nelson, and Emily Coley and featured an 11 piece Orchestra.
